How to Use
- Clean and dry the skin, and clean the cups before use.
- Place the cup on the skin, attach the gun nozzle to the valve and press the trigger several times until suction is comfortable and not painful.
- Remove the gun and leave the cup for the duration specified by the practitioner.
- To release the cup, pull the valve upwards to let air enter, then gently lift the cup.
- Wash the cups with soap and water after each use and dry thoroughly.
Who Is It For?
For licensed practitioners and people practising dry cupping under specialist guidance. Wet cupping involving skin incisions should preferably be performed by a licensed practitioner in a hygienically prepared setting.
Precautions
- Do not use on broken or inflamed skin, varicose veins, moles or prominent bones.
- Not recommended for people taking blood thinners or with clotting disorders, anaemia or a heart condition, or for older people and children, unless a doctor has advised.
- Cups are for personal use. Do not share between people if there is any contact with blood, to prevent infection.
- Consult a pharmacist or doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have a medical condition.
