Durex Extra Safe is a natural latex condom designed with a slightly thicker wall than ordinary condoms and extra lubricant, for people wanting greater reassurance during marital intimacy. The pack contains 3 individually wrapped condoms.
Key Features
- Slightly thicker than usual condoms, described on the pack as 'a thicker condom for additional protection'.
- Extra lubricant reduces friction and increases comfort.
- An Easy-On shape designed to make application in the correct direction easier.
- Made from natural latex, with each condom individually wrapped to preserve it until use.
- A small three-piece pack for trial use or carrying in a bag. Larger packs from the same range are available.
How to Use
- Open the wrapper gently with your fingertips, avoiding teeth or sharp tools.
- Apply after erection and before any contact. Squeeze the tip to remove air, then unroll to the base.
- After finishing, hold the condom's base during withdrawal, then wrap it in a tissue and dispose of it in a waste bin.
- Use each condom once only.
Who Is It For?
For couples who prefer a slightly thicker condom with additional lubrication, and those seeking a non-hormonal contraceptive method used only when needed.
Precautions
- Not suitable for people allergic to latex.
- Use only water-based or silicone-based lubricants with it, as oils and petroleum jelly may weaken latex.
- Check the expiry date and wrapper integrity before use. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
- No method completely prevents pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections. Correct use every time increases protection.
