Guide to Makeup Tools, Shades and Hygienic Use
A makeup name may combine preparation type, shade number and pack size, while tool names mention brush shape or piece count. Shade or finish descriptions do not establish that the same colour will appear on every skin type.
Shade, Texture and Tool
Note the shade's number and name exactly as shown, especially when replacing a familiar pack. Liquid lipstick differs from liner, and concealer differs from face powder or blush, so do not use these terms interchangeably. Choose brushes for blending or powder, and check bristle material and cleaning instructions on the pack. A set of several tools suits someone who needs their functions, while someone wanting one brush can compare the individual product.
Limits around the Eyes
The US Food and Drug Administration advises clean hands and tools, no sharing of eye preparations and stopping when irritation occurs. Do not use lip liner instead of eye liner unless the manufacturer permits it. Lash adhesive differs from nail adhesive and must not be replaced with it. Do not extend adhesive contact or apply it to an area it was not intended for. Seek appropriate care for an eye or surrounding skin problem instead of trying to cover it with additional layers.
Organise Packs after Opening
Keep the product name, shade and opening date, and read the period-after-opening symbol if present. Do not add water or saliva to a dried preparation to restore its texture. Follow brush and sponge cleaning instructions and dry them before storage, allocating tools to one user. Keeping the opening and cap free from dirt is part of regular use. Listed shade numbers do not run from light to dark unless the manufacturer explains that they do; they identify variants and help you choose the intended pack.

A Practical Comparison Before Ordering
If you are preparing a small bag, first list the functions you need, such as a lip product and a powder brush, then check sizes and piece counts. Do not buy a different shade based on your phone screen alone if the colour decision matters to you. Shade numbering systems differ when you change brands, so do not assume that the same number produces the same colour. Check the application area for each tool, and keep eye cosmetics, nail materials and facial products separate even when their small packs look alike.
You can explore the options in Makeup and Contact Lenses, while reading each pack's instructions before use.
