Jasper graduated compression stockings STO-1 model from Pro Jasper: elastic medical stockings extending to below the knee, with an open-toe design, in extra-large (XL). They provide graduated compression to support the legs according to medical advice.
Key Features
- Graduated compression is higher at the ankle and decreases progressively up the leg, which is the principle of medical compression stockings.
- Short length covering the foot and leg to below the knee.
- Open toes provide ventilation and comfort and allow the toes to be checked without removing the stocking.
- Elastic fabric surrounds the leg and stays in place while walking.
- Size XL is stated on the pack label (STO-1 XL).
How to Use
- Determine the size by measuring ankle and calf circumference in the morning and comparing with the size chart on the pack. Preferably, a doctor or pharmacist should do this.
- Put them on in the morning before the feet swell. Turn the stocking inside out down to the heel, then pull it gradually up the leg without folds.
- Remove before sleeping unless your doctor advises otherwise.
- Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, and dry away from direct heat.
Who Is It For?
For those advised by a doctor to wear compression stockings, such as people who stand or sit for long hours and experience heavy legs or swollen ankles, and those needing leg support as part of a doctor-defined treatment plan.
Precautions
- Medical product: consult your doctor before use to determine the appropriate size, compression level and wearing duration.
- Do not use with impaired arterial circulation, open wounds or skin infections on the leg except under medical supervision.
- Remove immediately if you experience numbness, pain or a change in toe colour.
- An unsuitable size reduces the benefit and may cause discomfort. Do not rely on weight alone when choosing the size.
