ADOL SYRUP contains paracetamol 120 mg per 5 ml in a 100 ml bottle. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever.
Indications
- Mild to moderate pain, including headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain and general aches.
- Reduction of fever and supportive relief of cold and influenza symptoms.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not give to infants under 2 months. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before giving to infants aged 2–3 months, especially those born before 37 weeks or weighing less than 4 kg.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to paracetamol or any ingredient of the syrup.
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not give with any other preparation containing paracetamol.
- Use cautiously in severe kidney or liver impairment. The risk of overdose is greater in people with alcohol-related liver disease.
- Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
- Always use the supplied measuring device and do not exceed the amount stated in the leaflet.
- Seek medical help immediately after an overdose even if the child appears well, because of the risk of delayed liver damage.
- Regular long-term use may increase the blood-thinning effect of warfarin.
