FLUDREX SYRUP contains 120 mg paracetamol, 15 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 0.75 mg chlorpheniramine maleate per 5 ml, in a 120 ml bottle. It combines a pain reliever and fever reducer, nasal decongestant and antihistamine to relieve cold and flu symptoms.
Indications
- Relief of nasal congestion and a runny nose.
- Reduction of fever accompanying colds and flu.
- Relief of pain and headache.
How to Use
- Give to children aged 6–12 only on medical advice. Do not give to children under 6.
- Dose according to the enclosed leaflet or a doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to any ingredient.
- Taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
- Children under 6 years old.
Warnings & Precautions
- Use cautiously with diabetes, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid or ischaemic heart disease.
- Caution is required with epilepsy, an enlarged prostate, urinary retention, glaucoma or liver disease. Consult a doctor for severe liver or kidney problems.
- Do not take with any other product containing paracetamol, and do not exceed the recommended dose.
- May cause drowsiness; take care when driving or operating machinery. Alcohol increases paracetamol's harmful effect on the liver.
Common Side Effects
- Drowsiness, insomnia, dizziness, allergic skin rash, palpitations or gastrointestinal upset may occur.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
