Pyralvex is a solution applied topically inside the mouth, containing rhubarb extract (anthraquinone glycosides) and salicylic acid; 10 ml pack. Anthraquinone glycosides reduce inflammation, while salicylic acid provides pain relief.
Indications
- Relief of pain associated with mouth ulcers and irritation caused by dentures.
How to Use
- For adults and older people: apply generously to the ulcer or the site of denture irritation (after removing the dentures) 3 to 4 times daily using the supplied brush.
- Do not exceed the stated frequency and do not use for more than 7 days.
- Avoid rinsing your mouth or eating for 15 minutes after use.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Do not use in children and adolescents under 16 years, because salicylates may be associated with Reye's syndrome.
- Allergy to rhubarb extract, salicylic acid or any ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Contains a small amount of alcohol (ethanol).
- For hygiene reasons, the pack is for one person only. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.
Common Side Effects
- Very common: a temporary burning sensation on application.
- Common: temporary discoloration of the teeth, dentures or mouth that is removed by routine cleaning.
- Stop use and consult your doctor if an itchy skin rash (hives) develops.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
