Omron Gentle Temp 521 (MC-521) is a digital thermometer measuring body temperature in the ear using infrared technology in approximately one second. It detects heat from the eardrum and surrounding tissues and is suitable for home use by the whole family, from children to adults.

How to Use
- Fit a new, undamaged Omron probe cover (MC-EP2) before every measurement.
- Switch on, then gently pull the ear to straighten the canal as explained in the manual for the person's age.
- Insert the probe securely into the ear canal without pressure and press the measurement button until the beep.
- Read the display and replace the cover before the next measurement.

Precautions
