Regaine 5% (REGAINE 5% TOPICAL SOLUTION), a scalp solution containing minoxidil 5%, one pack. Used for hereditary hair loss in men, preventing further loss and helping hair regrowth.
Indications
- Hereditary hair loss in men aged 18 to 65 years.
How to Use
- For men aged 18 to 65: 1 ml over the entire affected area of completely dry scalp and hair twice daily with light massage, at least 12 hours apart.
- Do not exceed 2 ml per day.
- New growth may require at least two months; stop if growth has not improved after one year.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Women and those under 18 or over 65 years.
- High blood pressure, even untreated.
- Sudden, unexplained or medicine-related hair loss, or complete baldness.
- Scalp diseases such as sunburn and psoriasis, or a shaved head.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor for heart disease, rhythm disturbance or angina.
- For scalp only: avoid eyes, mouth and cracked skin and wash hands afterwards.
- Accidental swallowing may cause serious heart problems; highly flammable.
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Common Side Effects
- Headache is very common; itching or dermatitis and unwanted hair growth outside the scalp are common.
- Stop and seek immediate medical help for chest pain or swelling of face, lips or throat. Consult a doctor for dizziness, rapid heartbeat or swelling of hands and feet.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
