Rinofed Expectorant Syrup comes in a 100 ml bottle for oral use. Each ml contains guaifenesin 20 mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 6 mg and triprolidine 0.25 mg. It helps relieve cold and allergy symptoms accompanied by phlegm.
Indications
- Helps relieve cold and allergy symptoms with phlegm, including sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes and nasal and sinus congestion.
How to Use
For adults: follow the package leaflet or pharmacist's instructions. Do not use in children under two years. For ages two to six, a doctor's guidance is required; for older children, refer to the leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Do not use if allergic to the ingredients, or with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, glaucoma, severe kidney impairment or an overactive thyroid.
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding or in children under two years.
- Must not be used with beta blockers or monoamine oxidase inhibitors, within two weeks of stopping the latter, or with other cold and cough medicines.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, asthma or a persistent cough.
- Avoid alcohol and take care when driving because the medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within five days or worsen.
