Rinofed syrup contains pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 6 mg and triprolidine 0.25 mg per 1 ml, in a 100 ml bottle. It combines a nasal decongestant and an antihistamine to relieve cold and respiratory allergy symptoms.
Indications
- Temporary relief of cold, hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and respiratory allergy symptoms: runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat, and itchy or watery eyes.
- Nasal congestion and swelling of the nasal passages.
How to Use
- Dose and directions: follow the enclosed leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Do not give to children under 6 unless directed by a doctor. For older children, follow the enclosed leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- With monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) medicines used for some cases of depression or Parkinson's disease, or within two weeks of stopping them.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor before use if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you take sedatives.
- May cause drowsiness, increased by alcohol and sedatives. Avoid alcohol and take care when driving or operating machinery.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: seek advice from a healthcare professional before use.
Common Side Effects
- Drowsiness, with possible irritability and excitability, particularly in children.
- Stop use and consult a doctor if nervousness, dizziness or insomnia develops, symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by fever, or new symptoms appear.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
