Brufen Coated Tablets are for oral use. Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 400 mg in a pack of 30 tablets. A painkiller and anti-inflammatory used to relieve back, muscle and joint pain.
Indications
- Relief of back pain, sprains and muscle strain.
- Relief of toothache, period pain, headache and migraine.
How to Use
For adults: follow the package leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions. Swallow tablets whole with water during or after food without chewing or crushing. For children: follow the package leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to ibuprofen or a previous reaction to aspirin or anti-inflammatory medicines.
- Active or recurrent gastrointestinal ulcer or bleeding, and severe heart, liver or kidney failure.
- The last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings & Precautions
- Tell the doctor about heart disease, blood pressure and any liver or kidney problems, and medicines such as blood thinners, steroids and other painkillers.
- Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding and seek medical advice. Avoid alcohol during treatment.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest period. Stop the medicine and consult a doctor immediately for vomiting blood or black stools.
Common Side Effects
Common side effects include dizziness or tiredness, diarrhoea, wind, constipation and headache.
Storage
Store at room temperature, not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
