PROF film-coated tablets contain ibuprofen 400 mg in a pack of 30 tablets. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkiller that reduces pain, inflammation and fever.
Indications
- Mild to moderate pain: rheumatic, muscle, back and nerve pain, headache, migraine, toothache and menstrual pain.
- Fever and cold or influenza symptoms.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not use in children under 12 years.
- For short-term use. Consult a doctor if symptoms have not improved after 10 days.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to ibuprofen, aspirin or similar painkillers, or asthma, rash or swelling after taking them.
- A current stomach ulcer or bleeding, or two or more previous episodes.
- Liver, kidney or heart disease, or high blood pressure.
- Taking other similar painkillers or aspirin above 75 mg daily.
- The last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor if you have asthma, diabetes or inflammatory bowel disease, or are over 65 years old.
- May slightly increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, particularly at high doses.
- Tell a doctor if you take blood thinners, blood-pressure medicines or lithium.
- Avoid during pregnancy. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use while breastfeeding.
Common Side Effects
- Uncommon side effects may include headache, indigestion, nausea, abdominal pain and rash.
- Stop taking it and seek help immediately for black stools or vomiting blood, difficulty breathing or facial swelling, or a rash with peeling or blisters.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
