Diclogesic topical gel contains 1% diclofenac diethylamine, in a 30 g pack. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine that relieves joint and muscle pain, inflammation and swelling.
Indications
- Muscle and joint injuries such as sprains, bruises, back pain and sports injuries.
- Tendinitis such as tennis elbow.
- Osteoarthritis.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- The last three months of pregnancy.
- Allergy to its ingredients, diclofenac or other pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medicines such as aspirin and ibuprofen.
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not apply to skin affected by rash, eczema or open wounds. Do not cover with a dressing or plaster after application.
- Avoid large areas and prolonged use except under medical supervision, and avoid the eyes and mouth.
- Skin sensitivity to sunlight may increase.
- Consult a doctor if you have a stomach ulcer or use other NSAID painkillers.
- During the first six months of pregnancy or breastfeeding, use only with medical advice. Do not apply to the breasts.
Common Side Effects
- Common: rash, itching, redness or skin stinging.
- Stop use and inform a doctor immediately if blistering rash, hives, difficulty breathing or face or throat swelling occurs.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
