Deslin Oral Solution contains 2.5 mg of desloratadine per 5 ml (0.5 mg/ml), in one pack manufactured by AJA Pharmaceutical Industries. Desloratadine is an antihistamine that helps control allergic reactions and their symptoms.
Indications
- Symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as hay fever or dust-mite allergy: sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, an itchy palate, and itchy, red or watery eyes.
- Symptoms of urticaria (hives), such as itching and rash.
How to Use
- Dose: follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not give to children under one year.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
- Swallow the solution, then drink a little water, with or without food.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to desloratadine, loratadine or any ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult your doctor before use if you have impaired kidney function or a personal or family history of seizures.
- Use caution when taking it with alcohol.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- It is preferable to avoid driving and tasks requiring alertness until you know how it affects you.
Common Side Effects
- Common in adults: tiredness, dry mouth and headache.
- Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if a severe allergic reaction develops, such as difficulty breathing, wheezing, itching, hives or swelling.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
