Locoid Skin Cream contains Hydrocortisone Butyrate 0.1%, equivalent to 1 mg in each g, in a 30 g tube. A topical corticosteroid used for dermatitis and eczema not caused by infection.
Indications
- Eczema and dermatitis, including inflammation caused by irritants or allergy.
How to Use
For adults: apply a thin layer to affected skin and gently rub in, no more than twice daily, under medical guidance. The leaflet specifies use after three months of age; seek medical advice for children.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to ingredients and untreated skin infection, whether bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic.
- Acne, dermatitis around the mouth and facial redness.
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not apply to the eyes or eyelids. Consult a doctor before use on the face, folds, large areas or under a tight dressing.
- During pregnancy or breastfeeding, use only when necessary under medical guidance, avoiding large quantities for a long time.
- Consult a doctor if the condition worsens or blurred vision occurs, and do not restart treatment when redness returns after stopping without their advice.
