Mucosolvan Syrup contains ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg per 5 ml (6 mg/ml), in a 100 ml bottle. It breaks down thick mucus adhering to bronchial walls and makes coughing it out easier.
Indications
- Mucolytic treatment for acute and chronic bronchial and lung conditions with thick mucus, alongside drinking plenty of fluids.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Take with or without food. Consult a doctor if the condition worsens or does not improve after four to five days.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to ambroxol hydrochloride or any ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- For impaired kidney function or severe liver disease, use only with medical advice.
- Not recommended during pregnancy, especially the first three months, or during breastfeeding.
Common Side Effects
- Common effects: altered taste, throat or mouth numbness and nausea.
- Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if a skin rash occurs, including mucous membrane sores in the mouth, throat, nose, eyes or genitals.
Storage
Do not store above 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
