Neurobion coated tablets combine vitamin B1 (thiamine) 100mg, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) 200mg and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), in a pack of 30 tablets. Used for nerve pain and its symptoms.
Indications
- Supportive treatment for neuritis and non-inflammatory nerve disorders.
- Nerve pain presenting with one or more symptoms: tingling, numbness, loss of sensation, muscle stiffness, muscle cramps and reduced sensation.
How to Use
- Adults: one to 3 tablets daily, swallowed without chewing with a little liquid during or after meals.
- Unsuitable for treating children because of its high active-ingredient content.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to any active ingredient or other component.
Warnings & Precautions
- Taking more than 50mg of vitamin B6 daily for a prolonged period (6 to 12 months) may cause neuropathy, so regular monitoring is advised during long-term use.
- Immediately tell the doctor of unusual tingling or burning in limbs.
- It may reduce levodopa's effect when taken together, and medicines such as isoniazid may reduce vitamin B6's effect.
- Contains sucrose; consult a doctor if intolerant to some sugars.
- During pregnancy, especially the first three months, or breastfeeding: consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Common Side Effects
- Digestive disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain may occur.
- Allergic reactions such as sweating, a fast heartbeat, itching and hives may occur, as may temporary reddening of urine.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
