Panadol Advance 500 mg film-coated tablets contain paracetamol 500 mg per tablet, in a pack of 24. Used to relieve common pains and reduce fever associated with colds and flu.
Indications
- Headache, tension headache and migraine.
- Backache, rheumatic pain and muscle pain.
- Toothache and menstrual pain.
- Sore throat, fever and aches associated with colds and flu.
- Pain from mild arthritis.
How to Use
- For adults: one or two tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not repeat before 4 hours have passed.
- Maximum: 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to paracetamol or any ingredient of the tablet.
- Taking any other medicine containing paracetamol for pain, fever, cold symptoms or sleep.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney problems, are underweight or drink alcohol regularly.
- Tell a doctor if taking metoclopramide, domperidone, cholestyramine, warfarin or flucloxacillin.
- Pregnancy: speak to a doctor before use. May be used during breastfeeding.
- Overdose may cause serious, delayed liver damage. Seek medical help straightaway, even if you feel better.
Common Side Effects
- Side effects are uncommon.
- Stop use and consult a doctor straightaway for a rash, facial swelling, shortness of breath, mouth sores, unexplained bruising or bleeding, or yellowing eyes and skin.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
