Panadrex (PANADREX) tablets contain paracetamol 500 mg, in a pack of 24. Paracetamol relieves pain and reduces fever.
Indications
- Mild to moderate pain associated with toothache, headache, backache, menstrual pain, nerve pain, rheumatism, muscle pain and osteoarthritis.
- Fever associated with colds and influenza.
How to Use
- Adults and older people: two tablets three to four times daily, maximum 8 tablets (4 g) per day.
- Do not take doses less than 4 hours apart or exceed the recommended dose.
- Do not use in children under 6 unless recommended by a doctor.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to any tablet ingredient.
- Taking other medicines containing paracetamol.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor before use for severe kidney or liver problems, alcoholic liver disease or G6PD deficiency.
- Tell your doctor if you take warfarin, metoclopramide, domperidone or cholestyramine.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: seek medical advice before use.
- Seek medical care immediately after an overdose, even without symptoms.
Common Side Effects
- Side effects are uncommon.
- Stop using and tell a doctor immediately for rash or itching with mouth or facial swelling, skin peeling or mouth ulcers, shortness of breath, unexplained bruising or bleeding, or yellow eyes and skin.
Storage
Store below 30°C away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
