Telfast (TELFAST) film-coated tablets contain fexofenadine hydrochloride 180 mg, in a pack of 15. A non-drowsy antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms by blocking histamine's action.
Indications
- Hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) symptoms: sneezing, itchy, watery or red eyes, and itchy, blocked or runny nose.
- Symptoms of urticaria (an itchy skin rash).
- For adults and children aged 12 years and older.
How to Use
- Adults: one 180 mg tablet daily as needed with a glass of water, with or without food.
- Do not give to children under 12.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose. If symptoms do not improve, do not take extra tablets; consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to fexofenadine, terfenadine or any ingredient.
- Pregnancy, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings & Precautions
- Tell your pharmacist or doctor about allergies to medicines, foods, preservatives or dyes.
- Tell them about all medicines you take, as some may interact.
- Tell your doctor before surgery requiring general anaesthesia.
Common Side Effects
- Headache, tiredness, nausea, indigestion, dizziness and drowsiness may occur.
- Tell your pharmacist or doctor as soon as possible if you feel unwell during use.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
