Silkplast medical adhesive tape, 5 cm wide and 5 yards long (approximately 4.5 m), manufactured by Pharmaplast. A light fabric tape made from woven cellulose acetate and coated with hypoallergenic adhesive, for securing dressings, gauze, catheters and medical tubes to the skin at home or in hospital.

How to Use
- Clean and thoroughly dry the skin before application.
- Pull the required length and tear by hand from the edge.
- Secure the tape over the dressing edge without excessive skin tension.
- When removing, slowly pull in the direction of hair growth while supporting the skin with the other hand.

For the home first-aid kit, carers of older people and patients, securing gauze, dressings and infusion tubes, and those sensitive to ordinary tapes.
Precautions
- Apply over a dressing, not directly onto an open wound.
- Remove if redness, itching or skin irritation occurs.
- Single use. Store in a dry place away from heat.
