Fevadol 200mg suppositories for rectal use contain paracetamol 200mg each, in a pack of 10. Paracetamol is a pain reliever and fever reducer.
Indications
- Treating pain and/or fever, such as headache, flu symptoms, toothache and body aches.
How to Use
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
- A child's paracetamol dose is determined by weight; weigh the child first if the weight is unknown.
- For rectal use only and for the shortest possible period because of rectal irritation risk. Suppositories are unsuitable when there is diarrhoea.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to paracetamol or any ingredient.
- Severe liver disease.
- Recent anal or rectal inflammation, or rectal bleeding.
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not give alongside any other paracetamol-containing medicine, to avoid exceeding the daily dose.
- Consult a doctor before use if the child has liver disease, severe kidney disease, dehydration, chronic malnutrition or allergy to aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines.
- If too much is given, contact a doctor or emergency department immediately even if there are no symptoms; overdose can damage the liver.
- Consult a doctor if pain or fever persists, worsens or new symptoms develop.
Common Side Effects
- The suppository form may cause anal or rectal irritation.
- Stop use and consult a doctor immediately for a rash, redness, hives or sudden facial and neck swelling with breathing difficulty.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
