Rhinase 0.05% Aqueous Nasal Spray contains 50 mcg fluticasone propionate per spray, in one bottle providing 120 sprays. A corticosteroid reducing inflammation, swelling and irritation of the nasal lining.
Indications
- Prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
- Prevention and treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis, such as animal allergies.
How to Use
- For adults: two sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. The usual maximum is eight sprays in 24 hours.
- Use daily; a few days may be needed for an effect.
- Do not use in children under 4 years.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to fluticasone propionate or any ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use following nasal surgery or with a nasal infection.
- Consult a doctor for blurred vision.
- Tell a doctor if taking ritonavir or ketoconazole or using corticosteroids for a long period.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Common Side Effects
- Very common: nosebleeds. Common: headache, unpleasant taste or smell, and dry nose or throat.
- Seek immediate medical assistance for difficulty breathing or facial or tongue swelling.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
