Lorine (LORINE) tablets contain loratadine 10 mg per tablet, in a pack of 10. Loratadine is an antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms.
Indications
- Symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning, itchy or watery eyes.
- Symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria: itching and redness.
How to Use
- Dose: follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not give this tablet to children under 6 years or anyone weighing 30 kg or less.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to loratadine or any tablet ingredient.
- Breastfeeding, because it passes into breast milk.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist for severe liver problems.
- Stop taking two days before skin allergy tests.
- Pregnancy: preferably avoid as a precaution.
- Drowsiness is not expected at the recommended dose, but may occur very rarely and affect driving.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 7 days.
Common Side Effects
- Most common in adults: drowsiness, headache, increased appetite and difficulty sleeping.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
