Lorahist tablets contain loratadine 10 mg, in a pack of 10. Loratadine is an antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms by blocking histamine released by the body during an allergic reaction.
Indications
- Relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis, such as hay fever, and year-round rhinitis symptoms: sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and burning, itchy or watery eyes.
- Relief of chronic idiopathic urticaria symptoms, including itching and redness.
How to Use
- For adults: according to the enclosed leaflet or pharmacist directions.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
- See a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to loratadine or any ingredient of the medicine.
- Breastfeeding, because it passes into breast milk.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe liver problems.
- Stop two days before skin allergy tests, as it may affect results.
- Side effects may increase with medicines that alter the liver enzymes responsible for medicine metabolism. Tell a pharmacist about all your medicines.
- Pregnancy: preferably avoid as a precaution, and consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
- Drowsiness is not expected at the recommended dose, but very rare drowsiness may affect driving.
Common Side Effects
- Most common in adults: drowsiness, headache, increased appetite and difficulty sleeping.
- Very rarely: a severe allergic reaction with swelling, or palpitations and rapid heartbeat; consult a doctor if these occur.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
