Product Details
- Do not give to children under two years.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use in These Cases
- Allergy to loratadine or any ingredient of the syrup.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding, because use is not recommended during either.
- Hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase deficiency, because it contains sucrose.
Warnings and Precautions
- Consult a doctor before use if you have liver disease or kidney impairment. People with severe liver impairment need a lower starting dose determined by a doctor.
- Stop at least two days before skin allergy tests because it may affect the results.
- Medicines such as ketoconazole, erythromycin and cimetidine may increase its blood level.
- Drowsiness is not expected at the recommended dose, but may occur very rarely and affect driving.
- Use within one month of opening the pack.
Side Effects
- Most common in adults and adolescents: drowsiness, headache, increased appetite and difficulty sleeping.
- Very rare: severe allergy, dizziness or a rapid heartbeat. Tell a doctor or pharmacist if any side effect occurs.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
