Clara tablets contain 10 mg loratadine, in a pack of 10 tablets. Loratadine is an antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms by blocking the effect of histamine released by the body when exposed to an allergen.
Indications
- Symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis such as hay fever and year-round allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and burning, itchy or watery eyes.
- Symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria, including itching and redness.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not give to children under 6 years or anyone weighing 30 kg or less.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist after 7 days.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to loratadine or any tablet ingredient.
- Breastfeeding, because it passes into breast milk.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe liver problems.
- Stop taking two days before skin allergy tests, as it may affect the results.
- Side effects may increase with medicines that affect the liver enzymes responsible for drug metabolism, so tell your pharmacist about your medicines.
- Pregnancy: avoidance is preferable as a precaution; consult a doctor or pharmacist.
- Drowsiness is not expected at the recommended dose, but very rarely may occur and affect driving.
Common Side Effects
- The most common effects in adults: drowsiness, headache, increased appetite and difficulty sleeping.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
