Claritine Syrup (CLARITINE 5MG-5ML SYRUP) contains loratadine 5 mg in each 5 ml (1 mg/ml), in one pack. Loratadine is an antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms, with an effect lasting throughout the day.
Indications
- Symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as hay fever: sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning or itchy eyes.
- Symptoms of urticaria, including itching and redness.
How to Use
- Adults: 10 ml once daily, with or without food.
- Do not give to children under two years.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to loratadine or any syrup ingredient.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor for liver disease; in severe liver problems, the doctor may adjust the dose.
- Stop two days before skin allergy tests, as it may affect the results.
- It rarely causes drowsiness, which may affect driving and operating machinery.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve or worsen.
Common Side Effects
- Most common in adults: drowsiness, headache, increased appetite and difficulty sleeping.

Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
