Fevadol (FEVADOL) is a sugar-free syrup containing paracetamol 160 mg in every 5 ml, in a 145 ml bottle. Paracetamol is a pain reliever and fever reducer.
Indications
- Temporary relief of minor pain associated with headaches, toothache, colds, flu and sore throat.
- Temporary reduction of fever.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- For children: follow the enclosed leaflet and consult a pharmacist. Do not give to children under 2 years without consulting a doctor.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- With any other medicine containing paracetamol, whether prescribed or over the counter.
- Allergy to paracetamol or any syrup ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- May cause severe liver damage if the maximum daily amount is exceeded or if combined with other medicines containing paracetamol.
- Consult a doctor before use if you have liver disease or take warfarin.
- See a doctor if pain worsens or lasts longer than 5 days, fever worsens or lasts longer than 3 days, or new symptoms, redness or swelling develop.
- A severe sore throat, one lasting longer than two days, or one accompanied by fever, a rash or vomiting requires prompt medical attention.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult a healthcare professional before use.
- In case of overdose, seek medical help immediately, even if there are no symptoms.
Common Side Effects
- Paracetamol may cause severe skin reactions. Stop use and seek medical help immediately if skin redness, blisters or a rash develop.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
