Product Details
- A doctor determines the duration of use.
- Do not use for children under 6 years. For older children, follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use in These Cases
- Allergy to acetylcysteine or any ingredient.
- Not for children under 6 years because of the high concentration of the active ingredient.
Warnings and Precautions
- Use cautiously if you have asthma or a current or previous stomach or intestinal ulcer.
- Do not combine with cough suppressants without consulting a doctor, because mucus may accumulate.
- Leave at least two hours between this medicine and certain antibiotics.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: use only if a doctor considers it necessary.
Side Effects
- Uncommon side effects: allergic reactions such as itching and rash; headache; ringing in the ears; rapid heartbeat; nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or abdominal pain; and fever.
- Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if new changes in the skin or mucous membranes occur.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
