Lezal oral solution contains levocetirizine dihydrochloride 0.5 mg in each 1 ml, in one pack. Levocetirizine is an anti-allergy medicine used to relieve allergic rhinitis and urticaria symptoms.
Indications
- Allergic rhinitis symptoms, including persistent rhinitis.
- Urticaria.
How to Use
- Dose: follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
- For oral use only, diluted in a glass of water or undiluted, with or without food.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to levocetirizine, cetirizine, hydroxyzine or any ingredient.
- Severe kidney disease requiring dialysis.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor if you have difficulty emptying the bladder, such as with a spinal cord injury or enlarged prostate, or epilepsy or a risk of seizures.
- Before allergy tests, ask a doctor about stopping it for several days because it may affect results.
- Take care with alcohol or medicines affecting the brain and when driving or operating machinery because drowsiness may occur.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Common Side Effects
- Common effects: dry mouth, headache, fatigue and drowsiness.
- Stop use and tell a doctor at the first allergy signs, such as swelling of the mouth, tongue, face or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or urticaria.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
