Neurobion coated tablets combine vitamin B1 (thiamine) 100 mg, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) 200 mg and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), in a pack of 20 tablets. They are used for nerve pain and its symptoms.
Indications
- Adjunctive treatment for neuritis and non-inflammatory nerve disorders.
- Nerve pain presenting with one or more symptoms: tingling, numbness, loss of sensation, muscle stiffness, muscle cramps and reduced sensation.
How to Use
- For adults: one to three tablets daily.
- Swallow without chewing with a little liquid during or after meals.
- Unsuitable for treating children because of its high active ingredient content.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to any active substance or other ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- Taking more than 50 mg of vitamin B6 daily for a long period of 6 to 12 months may cause neuropathy. Regular monitoring is recommended during long-term use.
- Tell a doctor immediately about unusual tingling or burning.
- It may reduce levodopa's effect, and medicines such as isoniazid may reduce vitamin B6's effect.
- Contains sucrose; consult a doctor if intolerant to some sugars.
- During pregnancy, especially the first three months, or breastfeeding: consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Common Side Effects
- Digestive disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain may occur.
- Allergic reactions such as sweating, a fast heartbeat, itching and urticaria may occur, along with temporary reddish urine.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
