Omol Extra tablets contain 500 mg of paracetamol and 65 mg of caffeine per tablet, in a pack of 20 tablets. They combine paracetamol, a pain reliever and fever reducer, with caffeine to enhance its pain-relieving effect, and are used for mild to moderate pain and fever.
Indications
- Headache and migraine.
- Muscle and musculoskeletal pain, and menstrual pain.
- Sore throat, toothache and pain after dental procedures.
- Fever and pain after vaccination, and osteoarthritis pain.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- Do not give to children under 12 years old.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to paracetamol, caffeine or any tablet ingredient.
- Taking any other medicine containing paracetamol.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor first if you have liver or kidney problems, are underweight or malnourished, drink alcohol regularly, or have severe dehydration or a severe infection.
- Tell a doctor if you take metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine or warfarin. Use with lithium is not recommended.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
- Reduce caffeine from coffee and tea, as excess may cause insomnia and tremor.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days, and immediately if an overdose is taken.
Common Side Effects
- Insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, stomach upset, palpitations or dizziness may occur.
- Stop use and tell a doctor immediately if a rash, difficulty breathing, facial swelling, mouth ulcers or unexpected bruising develops.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
