Dermatin 1% is a topical skin solution containing 1% clotrimazole, in one pack. Clotrimazole is an imidazole antifungal that treats the cause of fungal skin infections. The solution is particularly suitable for hairy skin.
Indications
- Fungal skin infections, such as ringworm.
- Athlete's foot.
- Fungal infection in skin folds.
How to Use
- Dose: follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
- For use on the skin only. Do not put it in the mouth or swallow it.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to clotrimazole or any ingredient in the solution.
Warnings & Precautions
- If it gets into the eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor. If swallowed, inform a doctor immediately.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: inform your doctor before use. If applied to the nipple area, wash the breast before breastfeeding.
- Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
- Keep the affected area clean and dry, and do not share towels with others to avoid spreading infection.
Common Side Effects
- Itching, rash, blisters, burning, discomfort, swelling, irritation, tingling, redness or skin peeling may occur after application.
- Stop use and consult your doctor immediately if signs of an allergy develop, such as a rash, difficulty swallowing or breathing, or swelling of the lips, face or tongue.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
