Product Details
- Do not use for children under 12 years.
Do Not Use in These Cases
- Allergy to any ingredient.
- Bowel obstruction or narrowing, acute bowel inflammation, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or abdominal pain of unknown cause.
- Severe disturbances of fluid and electrolyte balance, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Warnings and Precautions
- Do not use for more than one to two weeks without medical supervision. See a doctor if you do not improve within 7 days.
- Drink enough fluids. Diarrhoea is a sign that the dose is too high and should be reduced.
- Consult a doctor before using with heart medicines, diuretics or corticosteroids. Use with caution if kidney function is impaired.
Side Effects
- Abdominal pain, cramps and diarrhoea, often due to an excessive dose that needs reducing.
- Urine may become yellow or reddish-brown without harm. An allergic rash may occur.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
