Deflat (DEFLAT) is a chewable-tablet product containing simethicone 120 mg, in a 24-tablet pack. It is an anti-flatulent relieving painful symptoms caused by gas accumulation in the digestive system.
Indications
- Relief of pressure and fullness in the upper abdomen and intestinal cramps from gas buildup in air swallowing, functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer and postoperative bloating.
How to Use
- Adults: one tablet four times daily after meals and at bedtime; chew well and swallow alone or with a little water.
- Recommended adult maximum: 500 mg within 24 hours unless the doctor directs otherwise.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Intestinal obstruction (ileus).
- Obstructive gastrointestinal disorders.
Warnings & Precautions
- No interactions with other medicines have been reported; nevertheless, tell your doctor or pharmacist about medicines you take.
- Pregnancy: use only if the expected benefit outweighs potential risk to the fetus. Transfer into breast milk is not expected; consult a doctor or pharmacist during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- The tablets contain lactose among their ingredients.
Common Side Effects
- The leaflet states no specific side effects: simethicone is physiologically inert and is not absorbed from the stomach or intestines. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any serious or unlisted symptom.

Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
