Ezolvin tablets contain bromhexine 8 mg, in a pack of 20 tablets. Bromhexine helps clear the chest by thinning mucus in the airways so it can be coughed up more easily.
Indications
- Conditions with difficult breathing due to excessive airway mucus, such as colds, influenza and respiratory infections.
How to Use
- Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
- For children: follow the patient leaflet and consult a pharmacist.
Do Not Use In The Following Cases
- Allergy to bromhexine or any tablet ingredient.
Warnings & Precautions
- Consult a doctor before use for a persistent or chronic cough, such as a smoker's cough or one associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema.
- Tell a doctor or pharmacist if you have liver or kidney problems or a stomach ulcer.
- May increase the penetration of some antibiotics. Tell your pharmacist about your medicines.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: use only after consulting a doctor. Not recommended during the first three months of pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
- You may notice increased mucus while using it; this is common because of how it works.
Common Side Effects
- Nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, sweating and temporary increases in some liver enzymes.
- Stop use and contact a doctor immediately for a skin reaction with severe blisters or bleeding of the lips, eyes, mouth, nose or genitals.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
